Aye and Ko know food. Both ran local favourites Sukothai and the Red Hill Tea House for years serving delicious Chinese and Thai food to the Canberra community. However, it was the popularity of their native Myanmar dishes that inspires their next food adventure, Myanmar Corner.

Myanmar food culture is like no other, embracing its diverse communities it is a unique fusion of its many ethnic populations, Indian, Thai and Chinese cuisines.

From delicate soups, wholesome stir fries, rich curries and Myanmar’s spin on ‘salads’, Myanmar cuisine takes you on an adventure to the market food stalls and bustling tea shops of Yangon, Mandalay, Mawlamyine and many other places.
